This is from the OHA’s website.

CAMBRIDGE, ON – It is with great sadness that the Ontario Hockey Association announces the passing of one of it’s long time serving members, Mr. William (Bill) George Weir who passed away today (May 16th).

Bill was a staple for a number of years in the Western Conference of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL) and to date remained an avid supporter and fan of the conference and GOJHL.
Visitation for Bill will be held at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Thamesford Chapel (177 Dundas St. W) in Thamesford ON, on May 19th from 2-4pm and again in the evening from 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on May 20th in the same location beginning at 11am on May 20th.

You all know that I am a die-hard Rockets fan, but I am also a die-hard GOJHL fan, having been watching Jr. B hockey since I was 10 years old. I will only watch the GOJHL and during the hockey season, you never know what arena RG is gonna show up at. I'm bringing you the games, news, and updates of the GOJHL. RG is on Facebook at www.facebook.com/TheRocketGirl16 and you can find me on Twitter at www.twitter.com/TheRocketGirl16 If you hear of anything about any of the teams in the GOJHL, or have questions about anything, feel free to post it. If I don't know the answer, I know how to find it.
