Vipers: Calling All Minor Hockey Players – by C. Scott Holland

The LaSalle Vipers have joined the bandwagon of many other GOJHL in promoting hockey. Like so many other teams have done or will do this season, the Vipers are inviting all minor players to come out to the Vipers’ game on Wednesday. November 25 when LaSalle hosts the St. Marys Lincolns.

But the Vipers don’t want just any minor hockey league player, they want any minor hockey league player who will wear their minor hockey jersey. If any minor hockey player does they will be admitted free.

It’s a fabulous way to promote pride and instill a sense of what good hockey is all about. The Vipers host the Lincolns that night in a rematch of a game held at the Vollmer Centre last week and which the Vipers won 5-2.

So wear that sweater, come out and enjoy some great Jr. B hockey action, we’re sure that some of these players will be suiting up for the Vipers in the not-too-distant future.
