GOJHL Mid-West Players Of Month – by C. Scott Holland
The Mid-West Conference of the GOJHL has announced their November Players of the Month.
The Offensive Player of the Month is awarded to Kitchener Dutchmen player Adam Kawalec. The 5′ 7″ forward has a fabulous month playing in 9 games and racking up 6 goals along with 11 helpers for 17 points. Included the Kitchener native’s tallies were three powerplay markers and an amazing four game-winning goals.
The Defensive Player of the Month for November is bestowed upon Waterloo Siskins D-man Owen Kipke. The 6′ 1″ Northville, Mich. resident not only stood his ground in seven contests but picked up three assists as well.
The Goaltender of the Month for November goes to Kitchener Dutchmen netminder Luke Richardson. The Barrie, Ont. resident started three games and won all three contests limiting the opposition to 7 goals and finishing with 2.33 goals against average.
The GOJHL and the Mid-West Conference congratulates these players on their fine accomplishments and hope that their endeavours continue to aid their respective teams.
