GOJHL Vet Cale Allen Joins LaSalle Vipers – by C. Scott Holland
For three seasons Cale Allen had been a Leamington Flyer and had been a part of the team which has back-to-back West Conference regular season and playoff titles. But as of Tues. Dec. 8th, he is a LaSalle Viper, head coach Bill Bowler announced.
Bowler adds, that he feels “Allen’s presence will add some grit and experience to our team.”
Allen’s best season in the GOJHL was 2014/15 and over the course of his three seasons the 5′ 11″ forward who had played some time on defense this season as well, had played in 106 games, scored 11 times and had 34 helpers along with 84 penalty minutes.
Bowler expects the versatile 19 year-old Emeryville resident to be in the Vipers lineup Wednesday night against the Sarnia Legionnaires.
