FORMER WEST DIVISION STAR, ST. MARY’S SETH GRIFFITH BACK IN NHL

Former West Division Star Seth Griffith Back In NHL – by C. Scott Holland

He played one season with the St. Marys Lincolns and lit up the board as he set a team record for most powerplay goals in one season with 23 and ended the 2009/10 campaign with 43 markers and 35 assists 78 points.

Seth Griffith made his NHL debut last season with the Boston Bruins and on Tues., Dec. 29th, he rejoined the club in a contest when they hosted Ottawa and won 7-3. In 2014/15, he appeared in 30 games for the Bruins and scored six goals while adding four assists.

The 22 year-old forward picked up an assist in his 2015/16 debut and had nearly 13 minutes of ice time.

The Wallaceburg native and OHL London Knight grad had been playing for the team’s AHL farm club – the Providence Bruins – and had 27 points in 24 games before rejoining Boston.

The St. Marys Lincolns and the GOJHL wish him the best of luck in his NHL hockey career.
