Brantford Fine Tunes Roster – by C. Scott Holland

The Brantford 99ers sent two defenseman off to two different leagues.

Second-year veteran Sheehan Kirkwood, a 6′ 3″ Copper Cliff, Ont. native heads to the Rayside-Balfour Canadians of the NOJHL. In 31 games he had scored one goal and added six assists for the 99ers. He had played for Guelph in 2014/15.

The club also shipped Bryce O’Brien, a 6′ 4″ and 200 lbs. Belle River, Ont. resident, to the Quebec Remparts of the QMJHL. As a GOJHL rookie, O’Brien had appeared in 33 contests and tabbed one goal along with eight helpers and 78 penalty minutes.

The GOJHL and their former teams wish them the best in their continued hockey careers.
